The Tipperary Storage Pools Project

Union Gas has acquired a 75 percent interest in the Huron Tipperary Limited Partnership and Tipperary Gas Corp, the general partner. The storage assets that comprise this investment are the Tipperary North and South storage pools located in Huron County. Proceeds from this purchase will assist the Limited Partnership to develop and construct the Tipperary Pools and Union Gas will market and operate the storage pools.

The Tipperary pools will have a direct interconnect with the Union Gas system and will add approximately 3 billion cubic feet of new storage capacity to Union’s portfolio. The pools are currently under development and are scheduled to begin receiving injections in April, 2008.
