TEMAX and TIME III Projects

• Location: Ohio and Pennsylvania
• Capacity: 455 million cubic feet per day
• Projected In-Service Date: November 2010

1. Installation of approximately 9.6 miles of 36-inch diameter pipeline loop generally adjacent to existing pipeline between the Holbrook and Uniontown compressor stations;
2. Construction of approximately 26.5 miles of 30-inch diameter pipeline extension, a significant portion – all but one mile – of which will be co-located within an existing electric transmission corridor, in eastern York County from Texas Eastern’s existing mainline in Hellam to Transco facilities located in Lower Chanceford Township, includes utilization of an existing pipeline crossing to traverse the Susquehanna River;
3. Replacement of approximately 25.9 miles of various segments of existing abandoned pipeline that will be replaced in-kind with 36-inch diameter pipeline within and adjacent to the existing corridor near the Holbrook, Bedford, Chambersburg, Heidlersburg and Marietta compressor stations;
4. Installation of four new compressor units at the Holbrook, Uniontown, Chambersburg and Heidlersburg compressor stations, which will replace four compressor units at existing stations; and
5. An increase in the maximum allowable operating pressure from 1,000 pounds per square inch gauge (psig) to 1,112 psig along 268 miles of Texas Eastern’s system from Uniontown to Marietta

Our Open Houses:

To provide information on the TEMAX and TIME III Projects, Texas Eastern hosted Open Houses along the proposed route. The public was invited and all interested persons were encouraged to attend. Our representatives were available to answer questions on the proposed facilities, land acquisition, environmental and permitting processes, construction and operation, and other aspects of the TEMAX and TIME III Projects.
