New supply from a locally installed LNG facility.
The Logan Lateral Project will help meet the growing demand for natural gas supply in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern markets. Texas Eastern Transmission, a unit of Spectra Energy, has entered into an agreement with BP Energy Company to provide up to 900 million cubic feet a day of direct access to the Texas Eastern pipeline system.
The Logan Lateral Project will deliver natural gas supplies from the Crown Landing, LLC’s (an affiliate of BP Energy Company) proposed LNG terminal facilities, in Gloucester County, New Jersey, to an interconnection with Texas Eastern’s pipeline system at its existing Chester Junction facility in Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
The Logan Lateral Project consists of 11 miles of new 30-inch diameter pipeline lateral and related appurtenances. Specifically, approximately 5 miles of the pipelines facilities will be constructed in Delaware County, Pennsylvania and 6 miles will be constructed in Gloucester County, New Jersey.
The Logan Lateral Project is expected to be in service by the fourth quarter, 2011. Contact us toll free at 1-800-831-0043 for more information.
