Heritage Natural Gas Storage Pool Project

There is a growing demand for natural gas storage services. The ability to store natural gas means that it is available to meet peak demands such as during times of cold weather and increasingly, to serve natural gas powered electricity generation.

This storage development project will add one billion cubic feed of natural gas storage to Union’s storage system in southwestern Ontario and will provide competitively priced storage services to customers outside of our distribution area such as gas fired power plants. Construction on this project will occur in 2009.
