The TransCanada Energy Halton Hills Generating Station Pipeline project involves construction of approximately 4-5 kilometres of pipeline that will bring natural gas to a new 683 megawatt gas fired electricity generating station in Halton Hills, Ontario. New clean power sources are needed to help meet the growing energy needs of homes and businesses, now and in the future. Clean, natural gas can readily fuel such projects and is one of the quickest forms of power generation to build. The pipeline is expected to be in service in November, 2009.
