HubLine/East to West Expansion Project

  • Location: Massachusetts and Connecticut
  • Length: 12.9 miles of new pipeline and 18.5 miles of replacement pipe
  • Capacity: 1.0 billion cubic feet per day
  • Ownership Interest: 100 percent Spectra Energy
  • Projected Completion Date: November 2009

HubLine/East to West Expansion Project will use the existing infrastructure on the Algonquin system to offer shippers the opportunity to reach growing Northeast markets by moving these new sources of supply into existing deliver points throughout the region.

Natural gas consumers, utilities and electric generators located along the Algonquin system will also benefit from enhanced competition among supplies and upstream pipeline transportation providers.
