Through a network of over 37,000 miles of distribution mainlines and service lines, Union Gas’ local distribution company serves approximately 1.3 million residential, commercial and industrial customers in 400 communities throughout Ontario.
Union Gas’ storage and transportation assets are an important link in the movement of natural gas from all major North American supply basins to central Canadian and Northeastern U.S. markets.
Through its 2,790 miles of transmission pipeline and more than 150 billion cubic feet of high deliverability storage at Dawn, the largest storage facility in Canada, Union Gas’ storage and transportation business serves utilities and energy market participants.
