Processing Natural Gas

Spectra Energy processes natural gas, removing all undesirable impurities, so that pipeline quality specifications are met.

After natural gas is retrieved from the well, it must be processed before it can be transported and distributed for public use. Gas processing takes raw natural gas and removes all of the various hydrocarbons and undesirable impurities to produce dry or purified natural gas that meets pipeline quality specifications.
