HOUSTON – Spectra Energy Corp has declared a quarterly cash dividend on its common stock of $0.335 per share, or $1.34 per share on an annualized basis. The dividend is payable on June 10, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on May 9, 2014.

HOUSTON – Spectra Energy Corp today announced that the board of directors has elected Gregory L. Ebel to serve as chair of the board of directors. Mr. Ebel, who has been president and chief executive officer since January 2009, replaces William T. Esrey who is retiring after serving as chair for the past five years. The company also announced that F. Anthony Comper has been elected as independent lead director. Mr. Comper, originally elected to the board in 2007, is the former chair and retired president and chief executive officer of BMO Financial Group and will serve as a member of Spectra Energy’s corporate governance and audit committees. Both of these appointments will be effective immediately.

CALGARY, AB – Spectra Energy Corp today announced that it has received approval from the National Energy Board for a new two-year negotiated toll settlement that defines the economic factors and provisions for establishing tolls, and maintains service standards for its British Columbia Pipeline.

Today, Spectra Energy Corp (NYSE:SE) announced the submission of an Environmental Assessment Certificate Application (Application) for its Westcoast Connector Gas Transmission Project to the BC Environmental Assessment Office (BC EAO). The Application includes detailed descriptions of Project elements, summaries of studies conducted to assess baseline environmental, social and economic conditions, and analysis of Project benefits.
