Ask Pat Mason what inspires him at work and he'll tell you that it's a high performing team. Ask him what inspires him at home and he'll tell you that it's his wife, his children and his extended family (another high performing team).
Throughout his 25+ years with the company, Pat has embraced many opportunities and developed his career through a variety of roles. In addition to his current position as operations manager at the Dawson Plant, Pat has worked as a process shift engineer; team leader, maintenance; team leader, environment and safety; team leader, gathering; and community coordinator for the Dawson Project.
The dedication to high performance is something that Pat comes by honestly. His father, Owen, worked almost 40 years with Spectra Energy's predecessors. However, despite his family legacy with Spectra Energy, Pat will tell you that he is not unique.
"I am definitely not unique, and maybe provide an example of what anyone else is able to achieve at Spectra Energy if they should be so inclined," Pat said. "At Spectra Energy today, there are many exciting opportunities all around. I continue to enjoy each day and look forward to what tomorrow will bring.
